What is my PIN?

For NUS students, your PIN (Personal Identification Number) is your student card PIN by default.

For NUS staff, your PIN (Personal Identification Number) is your staff number by default. You are advised to change it to a ANY combination of numbers up to a maximum of 8 numbers.

For external members, your default PIN is your NRIC no. or your passport number without alphabet/s. If you need to change your PIN, go to the loans desk at any library to delete the current PIN. The next time you use myLINC or Request an item, you are prompted to enter NEW PIN (Personal Identification Number).

You can key in ANY combination of numbers up to a maximum of 8 numbers. You need to type the PIN 2 more times to confirm it.

If you forget your PIN, go to the loans desk to delete the current PIN. The next time you use myLINC or Request an item, you are prompted to enter NEW PIN (Personal Identification Number).
