Music Scores

To search whether the Library has a music score by a composer.

Click on Advanced Search at LINC search screen.

At the Advanced Search screen:

• In the first box, if you know the composer, type the name, e.g. Mozart.
• If you know other information like words from the title or instrument, type additional words
  e.g. AND strings.
• For Material Type, click on the down arrow and select MUSIC SCORE.
• Click on Submit.

Browse the list of records which are sorted by publication year.

Click on the title to get the full display for the title.

                                                                                           

Take note of the Location and Call #, e.g. MU Miniature Scores   M351 Moz.K563 2001
or MU Scores/CD-ROM (Loans Desk)   M452 Moz.Qu 1990.

Note that scores kept at MU Scores/CD-ROM (Loans Desk) are for loan by staff and students from the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music. Go to the Music Library Loans Desk and fill up the loan slip with stack number e.g. X1171.

Note that some study scores and piano scores are placed in MU Books for loan by members.

Click on Start Over at the top frame to do another search.
