Materials for use in the Library

The following categories of materials are only for use in the Library:

  1. Current periodicals
  2. Reference materials, including reference books, press clippings, standards, compact discs, theses & academic exercises
  3. Singapore/Malaysia Collection materials 
  4. Microforms
  5. Media programmes 

Loan entitlement of Part-time Staff

  1. Part-time staff, e.g. part-time lecturers or clinical teachers, may each loan a total of 15 books; all other loan privileges follow those of academic staff.
  2. Part-time tutors may borrow according to the loan privileges of higher degree students.
  3. Part-time teachers in the Office of Continuing Education may apply to the Loans and Membership Services to use the Library with the same loan privileges as external personal members.

Certain library materials and facilities may only be accessed by NUS students and staff.
